Meet REAL Education's Founders

Murray and Denise Masarik are educators of change. They have spent over a decade in the high gradient personal development field – participating in, supporting, designing and running some of the most powerful personal growth workshops and seminars available anywhere in the world today.

This, in conjunction with their experience as highly successful life coaches has given them a valuable insight into, and a unique understanding of, human behaviour and conditioning.

This wealth of personal experience and extensive learnings have evolved over time to create the highly successful workshops and seminars available through Real Education.

Thousands of people have participated over the years and the feedback and the results provide an overwhelming endorsement of the workshops and seminars and the Real Education team.

 

Murray facilitates the programs he and Denise developed, drawing on their many years research and specialised work in the field of men's and women’s issues.

The style of facilitation used in Real workshops is different from any other workshop in this arena. Many cultures have different types of wisdom to draw upon. The amalgamation of the wisdom from these cultures has created a unique workshop and seminar environment, providing high impact results.

Murray’s style – as anyone who has experienced it would tell you – is 100 percent passion and commitment. There is no question that this is a man on purpose. His personal experiences in life have ignited a flame in Murray that lights up dark places, illuminating the way forward for others to see. The principles of accelerated learning are blended with a probing facilitation style that results in a huge amount of new insight and wisdom for participants. All this makes for a brilliant facilitator.

A successful businesswoman in her own right, Denise has been Murray’s business and life partner since 1979.

Denise is the co-founder and co-director of Real Education. Her passion is supporting individuals, couples and families to find truth and success in their lives. She is very clear that the lack of awareness of success strategies needs addressing and she is committed to ensuring as many people as possible have the opportunity to learn these skills.

Denise is involved in the facilitation of the various workshops, seminars, courses, coaching, and counselling offered by Real Education.

Her other major passion is enjoying the family and lifestyle that she and Murray have created, as a part of the ideal life they have designed for themselves.

In 1993, Real Education founders Murray and Denise Masarik identified the need for a personal development workshop that went the extra yards, one which would give long lasting, deep change to participants. There followed a period of intensive research and development, which also included the development of a purpose built venue in the heart of the rainforest at Mt Glorious.

In mid 1996 the first Real Man™ Workshop was held, and so began a new era in personal development. This was a bold step, in part inspired by the theme of the movie ‘Field of Dreams’ – “Build it and they will come."

Real Education grew and prospered as the word of this phenomenal transformational workshop spread. The change in the lives of the men who participated was so significant that their partners started to ask "what about us?" In late 1997 the first Real Woman™ Workshop was held. Both workshops and seminars are in high demand and workshop placements fill well in advance.

New workshops and seminars have been added over time – Real Life Design™, the Real Coach Program™ and Real Relationships™, and they too have had a huge and positive impact on the lives of those who have attended – numbering now in their thousands with over sixty events held per year. The number of participants continues to grow, almost exclusively by personal referrals.

These workshops are a blend of experiential games, accelerated learning and a multitude of techniques, strategies and learning modalities. This gets to the source of many people’s habits and behaviours that do not serve them. Thus they are presented with clear choices that they have never been aware of before. Invariably, this shift in understanding personal behaviour is far beyond the expectation of the participant and has lasting impact.

Over time, a very mature support network has evolved to meet the requirements of the growing community of graduates.

The end result is a caring community of individuals who want YOU to win!

Supporting the principal Facilitator is Crew. All are highly skilled, dedicated individuals, committed to supporting others in their personal growth. Together with Murray they create a challenging yet empowering environment specifically designed to support you in delving as deep into yourself as needed for your greatest possible outcomes.

The Crew have been trained to explore and expand each individual's experience so participants can catch their beliefs and behaviours in mid-flight. In their own unique way, the team brings this situation 'to life' – Murray and the team draw your experience and the experiences of other participants into the learnings during the workshops and seminars to bring greater wisdom and insight to all participants.
