As we grow up our understanding of the differences between raising girls into women and boys into men is influenced by conditioned gender roles that cloud our true gender identities.

As a result, we have very little more than a superficial understanding of how femaleness and femininity is different from maleness and masculinity. Nor do we understand the interplay between masculine and feminine that occurs within us, within our relationships and within our society.
